The Norfolks - how did that happen?

Well, when one comes to turn 50 years of age one begins step by step to think about the "old age" ( it was like that for me anyway)

I became somewhat intimidated by the thought that I one day, mayby or most likely, would have less power to handle my beloved Irish Water Spaniels, therefore the hunt to find a smaller breed which could replace them, started.

Many breeds was considered, for example Kerry Blue Terrier - Miniature Schnauzer - Shiba Inu - Whippet - French Bull Dog - Miniature Pincher and the Norfolks.

I went on Google and read page after page, talked to breedres and considered for and against. Fur care or not fur care?

On March 1st 2009 I went home from Kennel Trollängen in Sweden with baby Petra which ended up with the name "Fisen" instead, which in English means a "Fahrt" Her pedigree name was "Trollängens One Step Closer"

The Norfolk Terrier are a wonderful breed to handle, they have a great personallity. They are nice, funny and lovable. They are easy to train without big trouble and they are one of the "easy" Terriers.

I have really enjoyed to get this little "big" dog into my home.

Well, when come to turn 50 years of age one begins little by little to think about that "old age", ( it was like that for me anyway).
