Connie Hurup Philipsen

I have always loved animals, especially dogs and horses.

In my childhood, I was not allowed to have a dog, but a cat and guinea pigs were ok.

Fortunately, we lived in the country, surrounded by small farmers. especially by one of those farmers, I outlived my wish to be with four-legged animals. Here there were horses, cows, pigs a dog, and minks, so what else could I ask for, I spent as much time as possible on this farm and it became my second home.

When I left home it was with "Sisse" an 8-week-old mixed puppy under my arm, finally I could decide for myself.

Later on, came cats, bantam, mountain goats, pigs and a calf, a horse, and a donkey.

Nowadays I concentrate on dogs.

I have held positions of trust in the Danish Spaniel Club and I am a breed representative for the Irish Water Spaniel and Norfolk Terrier.

I am a fully trained house painter and decorator and have had my own company called the "Colour Fairy" and I painted mostly for private customers.

Now I'm retired and I can enjoy my dogs for the whole day and I love it.

I'm living in the middle of Jutland in Denmark.
